I barely have anything in common with Laurie, but still I felt such a deep resemblance in some kind of way. I believe everyone can relate with Laurie as a main character because Josie’s writing is just so fluent and exquisite. Josie Silver did an excellent job with this romance book. This creates a bond and you get more invested in the character, which I very much enjoyed. Because it spaces out over a longer period of time, you truly get to know all the characters and be with them throughout different stages of their life. But this story is actually spaced out over 10 years and let me tell you, a lot can happen in ten years! I actually think this book is quite fast paced and it reads so smoothly.This is one of those books that make you lose track of time easily. I thought this book would space out over the course of a year, where we are immersed in the immense range of emotions this story has to offer.
